Year 8 students were delighted to meet Michelle Kadarusman, author of their English text Girl of the Southern Sea. Michelle shared the inspiration behind the novel and highlighted the importance of place when creating stories and characters. Michelle also conducted a writing workshop and was kind enough to personally sign almost every Year 8 novel!
